Christmas village
During the Christmas period, the table where you are going to receive your guests is certainly one of the key elements for the Christmas celebration. In this tutorial, discover our village which will find its place at the center of your table to embellish and illuminate it.
Preparation
You Will Need
- Laser Paper
- Glue
Machine Used
- Speedy 360
- 80 Watts
- 1.5" lens
Step by step

Step 1: Graphics
Go ahead and import the 'Christmas Village' file. It consists of 6 tabs, all including things like houses, roofs, trees and much more. We decided to use white for houses, black for roofs and green for the trees, but you can change these colours if you'd like - the sky is your only limit!

Step 2: Parameters
We decided to use a Speedy 360 laser machine for cutting this particular, 160gsm paper. All you need to do is place the paper inside the machine and use the following parameters:
Laser Settings:
Kiss-Cut: Power: 9% - Speed: 2% - Frequenzy: 1000 Hz -
Air Assist: ON - Z-Offset : 1.5
Cutting 1: Power: 9% - Speed: 2% - Frequency: 1000 Hz -
Air Assist: ON
Cutting 2: Power: 20% - Speed: 2% - Frequency: 1000 Hz -
Air Assist: ON

Step 3: Assembling The Pieces
Once the paper is all cut out, remove the various parts from the working table so that you can assemble them. When building one of the houses, fold and glue the walls, then add the roof afterwards. When creating the trees, you simply need to insert the two parts. It's very straightforward!

Step 4: Tips & Tricks
- For the best possible focusing, we used the Speedy 360's ultrasonic technology.
- We suggest using a black background to really make the colours pop and the model village shine!
- You can place tiny LED candles inside the houses to illuminate them.
- To add a little extra Christmas magic to this little paper village, spray some artificial snow onto the rooftops!
