Trotec's JobControl® laser software assists you perfectly during laser engraving and laser cutting. The innovative laser software features simplify your daily work - for perfect laser cutting and engraving results. Working in your usual graphics programs (CorelDraw, Photoshop, AutoCAD, Illustrator, InkScape, Word etc.) and send your layouts and designs to the laser from your PC or Mac. The Trotec printer driver uses Quick Print to send the file directly to the laser or the JobControl® laser software. A host of clever features allow you to optimise your workflow. Using you monitor as a "virtual laser machine"
JobControl® allows you to make use of the size of your computer monitor rather than searching for your laser in a mini display. Clicking in the screen with your mouse allows you to move laser engraving jobs that have yet to be processed from the job list to any position in the virtual laser machine. With bidirectional communication, you can begin the engraving job without leaving your workplace. JobControl® also includes many useful and intelligent functions which make your work easier. Processing via Colour Mapping:
Define processing settings such as laser engraving or laser cutting, speed, power level, number of passes, Z-offset, etc. by using colours:
- Automatic Z-Axis Control: Helpful for objects with different focal point positions.
- Multiple laser engraving passes: Allows you to achieve the best possible engraving or cutting quality when dealing with sensitive materials
- Webs: By interrupting the laser cutting line at defined intervals cut parts do not fall away from the raw material. This is very useful when producing entire stamp plates or filigree cut-outs.

Importing/Exporting of laser parameters:
Easily import and export your material parameters for creating a backup copy or for use on another PC.
The administrator is able to lock individual materials, material groups or the entire material database. Consequently, elaborated parameters will never be lost.
