Quality requirements: Trotec integration lasers replace other marking technologies

Hafner's automated system is divided into three work areas. First is the natural frequency test. The second step involves dimensional and geometric measurements. Finally, there is wear marking and laser engraving with plain text and DMC code in the laser cabin. Depending on the product, the cycle time is between 15 and 25 seconds. Thus, the system can process over two million brake discs per year with 24/7 operation.
