You can experiment using different wood sheets and acrylics, allowing you to create bespoke products for customers.

Step by step

Step 1

Step 1: Design

Begin by creating your own design or use our template. Send the graphic to the laser with the following print settings:

Process mode	Resolution	Cut line

Colour	Optimal geometries, inner geometries first

Tip:

In order for the tree to hold well after laser cutting the base plate, simply measure the thickness of the wooden plate in advance. As a guideline, you can start with a cutting gap of approximately 0.2mm when laser cutting with a 2inch lens.

Step 2

Step 2: Laser cutting the stand

Now enter the parameter settings. These will vary depending on which machine you use and its available power.

Tip:

For more contrast in the engraving, lift the Z-Offset to about +4mm.

Step 3

Step 3: Bauble

When you are happy with your design, send it to the laser using the following settings.

Step 4

Step 4: Laser process the bauble

Send the parameters for the bauble decoration to your laser machine. As before these settings will differ between laser machines and their available power.

Step 5

Step 5: Constructing the tree

Place the tree in the base plate, and hang the bauble with the hook from the tree branch. Your decoration is now ready for display!
