Speedy Lasers are the quickest and most efficient laser engravers in the market with a processing speed of up to 4.3 m/s and an acceleration of 5 g. Trotec Speedy systems were made to raise your productivity.
"We make our customers successful!"- Andreas Penz, Spokesman of Trotec’s management - Trotec Laser -
In 2005, we showed our dual-source laser engraver–two laser sources in a single machine:
One of the most important features in our patented flexx function is that, depending on the material, both laser sources can be alternately used in a single job without having to manually change the laser tube, lens or focus. Every CO2 laser application you can think of along with annealing, marking or metal engraving can instantly be realized. You are guaranteed to have saved time and flexibility within your daily tasks. Now, laser systems with dual laser sources are attainable in all platform sizes within the Speedy laser engraver series.
New standards in user-friendliness have been achieved once again using Sonar Technology™. This unique and efficient focusing method is done with an ultrasound sensor placed onto the laser head. After the two Z position buttons on the machine are clicked, the sensor checks for the surface of the workpiece. The focus point is automatically chosen and the working table is moved to the right position. Trotec has filed for a patent of this innovative method.
Since our lasers are made for multiple years of intense usage, we only select the highest quality parts from internationally renowned manufacturers. Every component is of select quality. Benefits:
Aside from that, Trotec Laser systems since 2012 have been installed with laser sources by the American OEM manufacturer Iradion. The incredible and patented laser source technology CeramiCore® provides superior reliability, engraving quality and machine longevity.
"Each Trotec laser machine is subjected to a number of quality controls during production- for reliable laser machines with long service life."- Quality Policy - Trotec Laser -
We have been improving large-format laser cutting since 2001 with the introduction of our Professional TP1313 2001 with a work area of 51 x 51 inches. In 2009, we revised it and since then it has been part of our SP series under the name of SP1500.
The SP3000's creation in 2015 made new standards in large-format uses. Innovative drive technology and rigid mechanics make the SP3000 laser cutter ideal for 24/7 manufacturing.
Nowadays, the SP Series range goes from the SP500 (work area of 49 x 30 inches) to the SP3000 (work area of 87 x 130.3 inches). These extremely productive flatbed laser systems are perfect for demanding laser cutting uses involving acrylic, paper, cardboard, plastic, wood, textiles and other materials.
SP Laser Cutters have even been honoured with renowned design prices like the iF Design Award and the German Design Award.
The JobControl® laser software was created for our flatbed lasers so that our customers could easily make their designs in the graphics software of their desire, then send those designs to the laser with Trotec's printer driver. Within the materials database is settings for over 50 materials, letting users easily choose their materials and get them laser cut or engraved as needed. The idea behind this is to allow even unfamiliar laser users obtain perfect results.
Through our effective JobControl® laser software we also help customers work more efficiently and as a result, more profitably. This is achieved through many different handy features such as bidirectional communication, the JobTime calculator, markers, vector sorting, job preview and much more.
Particularly for printing service providers or those in advertising technologies, Print & Cut products ensure extra value. The JobControl® Vision software allows for accurately fitted laser finishing for printed products.
It was already revolutionary to use registration mark detection systems for large-format machines. Yet with the introduction of iCut 2008 software for the Speedy 300, these systems were used for the very first time on smaller laser machines along with a micro-camera. As we do in multiple areas, with the Print&Cut line of applications we aim for the greatest solution for our customers and with JobControl® Vision we have made our own patent-pending registration mark detection software.
In the early 2000s we had already mixed a fiber laser with a scanner. We had done this back when "classic" Nd:YAG / Nd:YVO lasers were still commonly used and the victory of fiber lasers was far in the future. Even at the time we had realized the irrefutable advantage of the fiber laser. Even our laser software was advanced, continuing to be the most user-friendly marking software in the industry today.
SpeedMark was the first and only software that had a combination of both flowchart programming and a graphical user interface to let any user control a laser even without technical programming skills. With the help of yearly updates, SpeedMark continues to set new standards for the ease of use of laser software. Some years afterward, we allowed our customers to even control galvo fiber lasers with laser software that can function like a printer driver, unique in the galvo laser field but common for flatbed lasers. Because of DirectMark, Trotec customers can design with their typical graphics software and then use the galvo laser as if it were a printer.
We made the GS1200 for digital post-press finishing to guarantee the futures of print service providers with new standards and technical leadership. While previously only printing was done digitally, now cutting too can be done digitally, gaining the many advantages of digital printing. Print service providers can therefore make new, unique selling points within their incredibly competitive market and raise their profitability.
Alongside the super-pulsed CO2 laser source, the patent-pending "free-floating" laser cutting technique deserves a special mention, unique in the industry and producing ideal cutting results.
Stents, small lattice tubes that hold open narrowed arteries, save lives. Stents are made with intricate geometries and dimensions, subjected to very high quality requirements. With the SpeedCutter, created in 2012, we successfully created a stent laser cutting machine that transformed implants manufacturing. Even bio-resorbable materials like polyacetate are cut now with the SpeedCutter.
The SpeedCutter is a high-accuracy laser cutting system that has a revolutionary short-pulse laser capable of constant, automatic production 24 hours a day. Our patented SpeedCutter Twin laser system is the only stent production laser system that contains two identical air-cooled laser fiber sources that can cut two stents at the same time.
Our sister company Trodat, worldwide industry leader in self-inking stamps, had the vision of offering a better, more efficient solution for making stamps than the systems on the market over 20 years ago. The establishment of this goal is what marks the origin of Trotec, founded in 1997 as an independent company.
From the outset, we have thought about the needs of stamp makers when developing our laser systems. Because rubber stamp engraving generates a lot of dust, InPack Technology™ has been the norm for all our flatbed lasers since the beginning. Every dust-sensitive component like the optics, mechanics and electronics are protected from dust to guarantee years of low-maintenace usage.
In 2003, to keep up with the demands of high-volume stamp producers, we released the first laser made specifically for stamp making: the Laserati. We further improved it in 2008 with the Laserati DT. Containing up to 220 watts of laser power, a high-quality A4 page of rubber can be engraved within 20 minutes. This means that the Laserati is the most efficient CO2 stamp laser in the industry.
"In my opinion, the impressive thing about Trotec is the combination of the company's innovative power and the passion of its employees."- Martin Rehling, Managing Director - Trotec Laser -
