The GS Laser series was designed for precise and efficient laser cutting, particularly high-volume, pre-printed materials. The patent-pending 'free-floating' laser cutting process delivers the best cutting results imaginable.
The patented 'SpeedCutter Twin' is the only laser system on the market that specialises in the production of stents and is equipped with two identical air-cooled fiber laser sources. It has the functional capability of cutting two stents at the same time, ensuring a quick and seamless production.
With the Laserati laser machine, you can engrave an A4 page of laser rubber in under 20 minutes. Additionally, the patented Multi Colour manufacturing process ensures perfect production, with colours and shapes guaranteed - up to 15 colours can be applied in a single pass.

With the 'Speedy' laser series, we write success stories together with our customers. The first Speedy laser machine was sold in 1999, and some of these original machines are still in healthy operation today. Available with a CO2 or fiber laser source (or both in a 'flexx' machine), Speedy laser machines are available in four different platform sizes. With a processing speed of up to 4.2m/s and 5g of acceleration, the Speedy laser engraving machines are the quickest and most productive solutions on the market. Back in 2005, we launched a dual-source laser engraver with two laser sources:
- A CO2 laser source for engraving and cutting a variety of organic materials, including wood, leather, glass & plastic
- A Fiber laser source with a wavelength of 1064 nanometres for metal & plastic marking

One of the key features of our patented 'flexx' technology is that, depending on the material you are using, the two laser sources can be activated alternately in the one job. There is no need to manually change the laser tube, focus or lens. Every conceivable CO2 laser application, as well as annealing marks on metal, can be achieved in no time at all. Patented 'Sonar Technology™' for easy focusing
Here at Trotec we set new standards with our innovative technology, including our patented Sonar Technology™. This unique and efficient focusing method is based on an ultrasound sensor located on the laser head. When the two Z position buttons on the laser machine are pressed, the ultrasound sensor detects the surface of the workpiece quickly and efficiently. Then, the focus point is automatically detected, and the working table moves to the correct focus position.

Large-format laser cutting with the SP Laser Series...
Ever since 2001, we have been refining our large-format laser cutting processes. We started with the Professional TP1313 2001, with a working area of 1,300mm x 1,300mm. Then, in 2009, the cutter was revised and has since been a part of the intelligent SP series (under the new name SP1500). In 2015, we began developing the SP3000. It quickly set new standards in large format cutting applications - the world had never seen anything quite like it! With an innovative drive technology and extremely durable mechanics, the SP3000 is the perfect laser system for a 24/7 series production line.
Today, the SP series extends from the SP500 (1,245mm x 710mm) to the SP3000 (2,210mm x 3,310mm). These highly efficient systems are ideally suited for any demanding cutting application, with acrylic, paper, cardboard, plastic, wood, textiles and many other materials.
And, on top of all of that, the Trotec SP laser cutters have already been honoured with renowned design prizes, including the iF Design Award and the German Design Award.
Predefined laser parameters = Easy operation
We developed the JobControl® laser software for our flatbed laser machines so that our customers could create designs in their own, chosen graphics programs. It is then easy to send designs to the laser machine itself using the common 'print' command. In the materials database, we've even provided parameters for over 50 different materials. This allows users to select their intended material and cut or engrave it without any worries. The idea is to enable even the most inexperienced laser novice to achieve perfect laser results.
A variety of features for the best results
With a powerful program like JobControl®, we have been able to help customers work productively to generate a higher profit return. There are lots of features within the JobControl® software that make this easy, including bidirectional communication, the JobTime Calculator, marker, vector aligning and sorting, job preview and much more.
Precise & accurate laser finishing of printed materials
Print & Cut products can truly add value and uniqueness to a company, especially for printing service providers or advertising agencies. Our JobControl® Vision software enables perfect laser finishing every time, even if the material has already been printed.
Most large-format machines utilise registration mark detection systems already. However, with the introduction of the iCut 2008 software for the Speedy 300, ideas began to grow... This technology, along with a micro-camera, were used for the first time on smaller laser machines. As in many other areas, we were aiming for the best solution for our customers, and JobControl® Vision helped us achieve this. Now, we have officially launched our very own patent-pending registration mark detection software.
In the early 2000s, we had already combined a fiber laser solution with a scanner. This was done at the time of the classic Nd:YAG / NdYVO lasers - before the days of the fiber laser machine. But even then, we recognised the advantages of a fiber laser source. The SpeedMark laser software was trendsetting and ground-breaking at the time. It is still the most user-friendly marking software on the market today.
Easy laser control for any user...
SpeedMark was the first and only software that combined flowchart programming and graphical user interfaces to allow seamless laser control for any user – so you don't need prior programming skills! Thanks to annual updates, SpeedMark continues to set standards for easy and straightforward laser software. Unique in the field of galvo laser machines; We have enabled people to control even galvo fiber lasers with our software, functioning like a printer driver (like flatbed laser machines). Thanks to DirectMark, Trotec customers can even work in their usual, chosen graphics program – thus you won’t need to learn a whole new program!
Added value for printed matter
We developed the GS1200 specifically for digital post-press finishing, specifically to secure the future of print providers. We wanted to offer new standards and technological leadership to this bustling and ever-growing market. Previously, only printing was done digitally. But now, cutting can be as well! This can provide companies with so many new benefits. Print service providers can thus create unique projects tailored to a customer's desires, which is an amazing thing to have in the competitive market of today.
Aside from the super-pulsed CO2 laser source, the patent-pending 'free-floating' cutting ability stands out as one of the key features of this amazing machine.
Medical stents - the small lattice tubes that hold narrowed arteries open - save lives every single day. They are manufactured to the tiniest geometries and tightest tolerances, and their production is subjected to extremely high requirements and international standards. The SpeedCutter, which was developed back in 2012, was the first stent laser cutting machine. This revolutionised the manufacture of medical implants. Today, even bio-restorable materials (like polyacetate) are being processed with the SpeedCutter laser machine.
Developed for constant operation
The SpeedCutter is a high-precision laser cutting system with a unique and high-quality short-pulse laser function that can operate completely automatically, 24 hours a day. The patented SpeedCutter Twin machine is also the only laser system that produces medical stents with two identical air-cooled fiber laser sources. This means it can produce two stents at the one time, saving a momentous amount of time.
Our sister company 'Trodat' - the global market leader for self-inking stamps - once had the idea of providing a better, more productive way of creating stamps. Something to replace the old, inefficient systems... This idea marked the birth the of Trotec company, which was founded in 1997 as its own business.
Dust protection = Cleanliness, quality & longevity
Right from the beginning, we have been very cautious of what a stamp maker might need from his/her laser system. Since stamp rubber produces a lot of dust and debris, InPack Technology™ comes standard on every single one of our flatbed laser machines. All dust-sensitive components, including the optics, mechanics and electronics, are protected against all dust. Years of low-maintenance operation are guaranteed with Trotec laser, provided they are used in the correct way.
Laserati: The most productive CO2 stamp laser on the market
To be able to meet the needs of some of the high-volume stamp producers of the world, we launched the Laserati machine in 2003. We then improved the designed and launched the Laserati DT in 2008. With up to 220W of available laser power, an A4 page of laser rubber can be engraved perfectly in under 20 minutes. This proves that the Laserati is the most productive CO2 stamp laser available today. And, with the Multi-Colour and Multi-Colour Jet options, Trodat and Trotec have set new standards in multi-coloured stamps. The patented Multi Colour manufacturing process ensures a consistent production, with the colour and shape of the stamp guaranteed to not waver. You can also use up to 15 colours in the one pass.
