Laser Cutting PE foam

Everything you need to know about cutting case inlays, filter mats, seals, foam inserts or components for economic individual pieces or small batches.

How you can use a laser machine to cut PE foam.

Many foams such as polyester (PES), polyethylene (PE) or polyurethane (PUR) are very suitable for processing with the laser cutting machine. The contactless processing ensures fast cutting without exerting pressure on the material. The heat from the laser beam seals the edge. Thanks to the digital process, you can produce individual pieces and small batches economically using laser technology. Laser markings can also be applied to case inlays.
