Step by step

Step 1

Step 1: Slate

Begin by creating your own design or importing our template. Adapt the graphic if required to fit your slate sheets.

Send the job to the laser using the driver settings below.

Step 2: Laser process slate

Determine and enter the material parameter settings. The parameters can vary depending on laser machine and available laser power.

Tip:

To improve your productivity you can engrave all coasters in a single job. As the different coasters will not be exactly the same size, pay special attention to the precise positioning of the graphics for each piece.

Step 3: Storage

As with the coasters create your own design or import our template. Remember to adapt the graphic if necessary to the size of your slate sheets.

Send the job to the laser using the driver settings below.

Tip:

Before laser cutting, measure the thickness of the wooden sheet and adapt the kerf if necessary. Also make a final check to ensure your slate coasters fit into the unit.

Step 5

Step 5: Finishing

Connect the individual pieces of the storage box and put the laser engraved coasters into it.

Inspirations

Any design can be used for the coasters, including logos, images or other designs requested your customers. laser engraving is an excellent way to personalise the coasters, and you can also personalise the storage unit with a laser engraved logo or icon.
