Step 1

Step 1: Import design

The first part of this process is to make your own design or import our template. If you choose our template you will need to adapt it to your requirements. Use the driver settings below when sending the job to the laser.

Print settings:

Process mode Resolution Cut line
Standard 600 dpi none
Halftone Others
Colour Optimised geometries, inner geometries first
Laser engraving green trolase foil
Step 2

Step 2: Laser Engraving TroLase Foil

Place the TroLase Foil into your Trotec laser machine and cover the rest of the engraving table with paper to maximise the vacuum effect. Start the laser engraving from the bottom to prevent the dust from settling on the engraved areas. The parameters will differ depending on your laser machine and laser power available.

LASER PARAMETERS

Process Colour Process Power (%) Speed (%)
Laser engraving black Engrave CO2 60 80
scratching red Cut CO2 10 1.5

Info:

When kiss-cutting you cut through only the top layer of the sticker material, leaving the backing layer intact. This allows the stickers to be easily peeled and removed from the backing layer.

Step 3: Cleaning and assembling

Clean the sheet using a damp cloth. Leave the material in the machine with the vacuum activated, as this will make the cleaning process easier.
