Switching to a new laser software can be a difficult endeavor. Familiar processes change, files no longer work and you are forced to change your regular routine for getting work done. So why should you switch to Ruby®? Here are three compelling reasons.

You can use Ruby® and JobControl® in parallel

There's no risk if you create a free Ruby® account now. You’ll gradually familiarize yourself with Ruby, going at your own pace. And if you want to go back to using JobControl®, you can simply switch back.

Design and produce efficiently

Our customers have taught us well. After decades of working with our customers, we have a comprehensive understanding of which functions are most relevant for laser processing. We have taken that knowledge and rolled it onto Ruby®. Here are a few examples.

You can adapt and prepare your customer's data for the laser process (e.g. PDF, CDR, TSF, AI, etc.) directly in Ruby. This saves time in print preparation.
You can prepare graphics and operate the laser separately. This saves money on expensive graphics licenses.

With Ruby, there is no more time-consuming setting of line width laser parameters. You can simply select the material and desired material effect, such as dark engraving or kiss cut.

Frequent updates and improvements

Ruby is the laser software of the future, and it continues to evolve and grow. Several times a year, you can expect new releases with more functions and improvements.
