See how you can produce an individual Valentine's card using Trotec's LaserPaper.

Preparation

Required material
Machine used
  • Speedy 360, 80 Watt
  • 1.5" lens
  • Vacuum table and honeycomb cutting table

For this sample you can use any laser machine from the Speedy laser engraver series.

Tip

Use the 1.5 inch lens if you want to make intricate cutting designs like in our template

Step 1: Import design

Make your own design or import our template. Send the job to the laser using the driver settings below.

The small circles in heard shape are a perforation which helps you to remove the heart. You can use the heart for other purposes.

Step 2

Step 2: Engraving the Paper

Make the material parameter settings. We used several parameters which have been optimized for the different requirements (fast and slow cutting, light and deep engraving, scratching). The parameters can vary depending on laser machine and available laser power.

Cover the rest of the engraving area carefully to achieve full vacuum which holds the paper in place.

Step 3: Cleaning

Dust can be removed with a damp cloth if necessary. Make sure that the cloth is not wet to avoid arching of the paper.
