Step by step

Laser cutting wood for christmas decoration
Step 1

Step 1: Design

Have a go at creating your own design, or feel free to use our template. Send the completed graphic to the laser machine using the following print settings:

Tip:

So that the tree holds well once cutting the base plate, just ensure you measure the thickness of the wooden plate in advance. As a guideline, begin with a cutting gap of approximately 0.2mm when cutting with a 2" lens.

Step 2

Step 2: Laser Process - Tree

Now it is time to enter the parameter settings. Remember: Parameters may vary depending on the laser machine you are using and its available power.

Tip:

To achieve a higher contrast in the engraving, lift the Z-Offset to about +4mm.

Step 3: Bauble

You are welcome to use our template and design. But if you're feeling creative, why not design and create your very own bauble? Send the graphics to the laser machine using the following print settings:

Step 4: Laser Process - Bauble

Send the following parameters for the bauble to your laser machine. Please note that the settings may vary depending on the laser machine you are using and its available power.

Step 5: Construct the Tree

Begin by placing the tree into the base plate. Then, hang the bauble from the appropriate tree branch using the hook. Your eye-catching and festive decoration is now ready to display!
