Laser marking of turning, milling and drilling tools
Turning, drilling and milling tools are subject to heavy stress. The markings on these precision tools must also be able to withstand these stresses. Laser markings offer some decisive advantages over other methods, such as etching or stamping:
When labeling machining tools, it is particularly important that the tool's surface is not damaged. Here, the laser can fully execute its advantages. During annealing, the tool's surface finish is not altered.
Laser markings for milling, drilling and turning tools in particular excel in durability and flexibility. With a laser labeling device, labels can be highly precise even in the smallest fonts and on a wide range of shapes. Workpiece properties are not altered because of the non-contact and chemical-free laser technology. Additional cleaning costs can also be avoided thanks to eco-friendly processing methods.
