New TroWood Black MDF

We're excited to announce the newest addition to our TroWood range of laserable wood materials - TroWood MDF Black. With a rich, matte black surface and consistent colour throughout the core, this material is ideal for laser applications where both performance and appearance matter.

Why low formaldehyde (E1) matters

Traditional MDF products can release higher levels of formaldehyde - a known irritant and indoor air pollutant. Trotec's TroWood Black and Standard MDF meets the EN 717-1 E1 standard, with emissions < 0.05ppm. That means:
