Wood veneer
Trolase Thins with double-sided adhesive tape
Trolase - thickness: 3.2mm

Order Trotec engraving materials

Laser machine used

Speedy 400 120 watt
2" lens
Vacuum table with honeycomb cutting tabletop or acrylic cutting grid

You can use any Speedy laser engraving machine to create this sample.

Tip

If you are only laser cutting the TroLase material, we suggest leaving the clear film over the material.

Step by step

Step 1

Step 1: Import design file into the laser software

Either create your own design or use our ready made template. Send it to the laser with the recommended laser parameters. These parameters may vary depending on your laser machine, the available laser power and the material thickness.

Print settings:

Step 2

Step 2: Laser cutting and laser engraving the wood veneer and TroLase

Load the material onto the honeycomb cutting table in your laser machine and cover the rest of the work area with paper to create a stronger vacuum. The parameters can differ depending on the laser machine used and laser power available.

Step 3

Step 3: Assembling Napkin Ring

Take the cutout of the TroLase Thins with adhesive film off the back and stick it to the Wood veneer. Then place the laminate cutouts into the cutouts on the Wood veneer in any colour order you like.
