Keeping an adequate distance from others and washing one's hands are crucial to slowing the spread of COVID-19.
Use your Trotec laser to create safety signage to encourage handwashing and social distancing.
Any laser engraver from the Speedy series can be used to make these projects.
You will achieve the best results if you prevent thin sheet materials — such as TroLase — from moving while being laser processed. If the sheets cover your Trotec laser's entire work area, we recommend using a vacuum table or an adhesive mat.
If, on the other hand, the sheets only cover a fraction of the work area, you can cover the remaining space with scrap or standard printing paper. This will strengthen the laser's vacuum suction on your materials, thereby helping to keep them in place.
Create your own design, or use our templates (below) and make any desired edits. Once your artwork is finalized, send each job to the laser with the settings below.
If you intend to use TroGlass Reverse, your artwork must be mirrored. Otherwise, the sign will not be legible from the front.
You can easily flip the graphics horizontally in JobControl®.
Process mode | Resolution | Cut line |

Peel the protective film from your TroLase and/or TroLase Lights Premium sheet(s). Do NOT remove the film from the TroGlass Reverse sheet, as it prevents scratches from forming while it is being laser cut or engraved.
Place your first sheet on the aluminum cutting grid table (or honeycomb cutting tabletop) in your laser. Next, enter the corresponding processing parameters (see the table below). Please note that the optimal settings may vary depending on your Trotec model and its maximum wattage.
Once your first sheet has been processed, proceed to process the remaining materials.

Slightly dampen a cloth with lukewarm water to remove any residue from your materials.
To assemble the handwashing signs, affix the Blue/White TroLase to the Yellow/Black TroLase or Gloss/White TroGlass Reverse. If you are marking the second handwashing sign (i.e., Option 2), remember to remove the protective film from the reverse side of the TroGlass.
No additional steps are needed to prepare the TroLase Thins Premium floor decal.
