HWK Düsseldorf relies on regional high-quality technical equipment.
About HWK Düsseldorf.
For over 120 years, the Chamber of Skilled Crafts (= HWK) in Düsseldorf, with 240 employees today, has represented the interests of the region's skilled crafts. The district of the Düsseldorf Chamber of Skilled Crafts includes more than 59,000 skilled crafts enterprises and around 5.2 million inhabitants. One of the tasks of the HWK is to organize and conduct examinations in training and further education. The academy operates 23 master craftsmen's schools and offers many continuing and advanced training courses.
In order to impart interesting and future-oriented know-how, the HWK pursues a high standard in this area in terms of the latest technical equipment.
Time-saving laser technology for working models.
As part of the training for master roofers, working models of roof models are built. The master craftsmen work independently on various work situations from their daily practice and thus obtain a direct a href="between theory and actual work.
Models made of flat roofing and cladding materials are produced using a laser cutter. For this purpose, practice materials are cut from e.g. gray cardboard, plywood or acrylic glass in thicknesses of 1 to 3 mm.
We were looking for a modern technology that could replace the time-consuming and laborious manual processing, e.g. cutting out the different roof tile shapes. It was important for us to have a manufacturer from the region where we not only receive a quality product but also German-speaking support. That's why our choice quickly fell on Trotec Laser.
Speedy 100 - regional quality product.
At a trade show, HWK Düsseldorf discovered the Speedy 100 laser engraver from Trotec and quickly realized that it met all their requirements. In the public invitation to tender, Trotec won the contract due to the balanced price/performance ratio.
