Our JobControl® laser workflow software includes a feature that allows you to create the highest quality engravings. With the click of a mouse, you can select the software's High-Quality Mode to achieve the highest engraving quality. By focusing on quality, the engraving time is longer, making it ideal for when you want a high-quality engraving and time is not a consideration.
In normal operating mode, the laser head generally travels over the width of the entire engraving area at a higher speed. The result is different exposure times and the material is engraved more deeply in some places. In the High-Quality Mode, the laser travels across the entire width of the job at the same speed marking only the defined areas for the engraving. That means that jobs are engraved at the same speed across the entire engraving surface. The result is a very even and homogeneous laser engraving.
Summary: Always activate the High-quality Mode when a high-quality engraving is desired and the length of the engraving time is not critical.
Turn on High-quality Mode by following these steps:
When the most important factor is schieving a high-quality engraving, we recommend using this mode. When speed is the most important factor, this is not the best mode. Instead, you could lower the resolution, which will save time but lower the quality.
In our standard recommended laser parameters on our website, we always have the High-Quality Mode activated to create the highest quality results possible.
