SpeedMark marking software is included with each SpeedMarker galvo laser and enables automated marking. The program includes program modules to help automate common marking jobs. With the SpeedMark software laser operators can easilly automate tasks using a graphical process flow. Using Macros also further extends the SpeedMark softwares functionality. This makes it even easier to integrate the SpeedMarker into your existing workflow.
In this tutorial, you'll learn how to create a basic SpeedMark program, including the following tasks:
- Line marking
- Ellipse marking
- Outline text marking
- Rectangle marking
- Arc marking
Select the outline text element on the left side of screen, then place the cursor in the flow chart and left click to add to flow chart.
Once the text is placed on the flow chart a “New graphic” screen will pop up, type desired text, adjust text size, font style etc. When complete, select "Add” then position the text on the field.
Select the text, then in graphic properties on the right side of the screen, fill the text using choice of fill style.
Select each basic element as shown then left click and drag on the main page to create each element. Once they are complete, each element will then be displayed on the flow chart.
Elements in the flow chart can be selected and adjusted at any time. In the example, the “Ellipse” is selected and the size and positioning are adjusted.
Select the text and other Basic elements, then select “Marking" in the left side of “Graphic properties." Select the material parameter and the material from the material database.
Position the job before starting the marking process. The pilot laser can be used to outline the position of the mark on the work piece. To start press F9 or use the icon in the menu bar.
Start the marking process by pressing the F12 key or the Execute button in the menu bar. As illustrated in the flow chart, the line will be marked first, then the circle, followed by the text, then finally the rectangle and the arc. This flow may can be changed by re-ordering the individual elements.
