Trotec Laser Canada is proud to announce the launch of Trotec Academy, a modular laser training program available to clients across Canada. Instructed by our applications engineering team, Trotec Academy participants learn how to get the most value out of their Training laser systems.
Whether you are a home-based laser enthusiast seeking to improve your skills, a small business owner looking to boost your bottom line, or a manager in need of training new associates, the Trotec Academy curriculum is tailored to your unique needs.
Due to Trotec Academy's modular design, participants are able to build their own curriculum by selecting from one or more of Trotec's 20 pre-designed modules:
Sample modules include the following:
CorelDraw, Adobe Illustrator, AutodeskAutoCAD
JobControl®, Rayjet JobCommander®, SpeedMark®
Material Processing (Cutting and Engraving)

Alternatively, participants can work with our team to develop custom modules to suit their unique laser learning needs.
No matter your location in Canada, our applications engineering team can deliver customized online training. This delivery format has the following advantages:
- You are able to share your screen so that the instructor can guide you through your design and laser software platforms
- The instructor will capture their use of the laser in live time so that you can follow along at your facility
- For your reference, you will receive your recorded training session in video (MP4) format
Join other Trotec laser users in learning the tips and tricks of the trade! Our application experts regularly provide complimentary laser skills workshops at each Canadian Trotec office.

Yes! Private group training can be delivered at a Trotec Laser Canada office, at your facility (or facilities), or via web conferencing.
Group training is particularly effective when participants have a similar skill and knowledge level. So that each participant may receive adequate feedback on their progress during the training session, we recommend a maximum group size of 10 people.
Yes! Trotec Academy modules are available in French. However, French training sessions are in an online-only format.
Trotec Academy modules can be completed in as little or as much time as is required for each participant to feel comfortable with the content and confident to apply their knowledge on their own. What's more, participants have the flexibility to choose whether their training takes place within a single day, or over the course of several days or weeks.
The training time depends on the complexity of the module. Generally, each module lasts 60 – 120 minutes.
