Each year, members of over 1,600 fab labs across the world convene for a week of presentations, panels, and hands-on workshops regarding digital fabrication pricinciples and applications. Attendees with diverse interests in the fields of digital manufacturing, innovation, and technology come together share, discuss, collaborate, and create new communities.
In 2017, 1,200 fab lab members participated in FAB15. The fact that the event's attendance increased by 400 people within a single year reveals that public iterest in digital fabrication is growing rapidly. At this year's event, Professor Neil Gershenfeld (Director, MIT Center for Bits and Atoms) will share his thoughts about the future of Fab Labs and how Trotec can contribute to their development.
