Use the following instructions to create your own wooden "Tea House" sign. Complimentary graphic files are available for download.
Preparation
Trotec Laser
Tip
Affix a double-sided adhesive film to one side of the walnut board.

Step by Step

Step 1: Download the Signage Template
Download the "Tea House" sign template (PDF) and open the file in your graphics software.

Step 2: Configure the Laser Settings

Step 3: Process the Wood Sheets with Your Laser
Send the graphics to your laser, and proceed to cut and engrave the alder and walnut wood sheets.
To process the cup designs, ensure to select the "Relief" feature in the JobControl® print window. Select the "Optimized Geometries" and "Inner geometries first" functions to achieve better results when processing all sign components.
TIP
For the relief engravings, make sure that the job is not positioned on the joint of two glued wooden boards (the laser cannot erode the adhesive).

Step 4: Assemble the Sign
Remove the protective film from the smaller the sign components (i.e., lettering, cups, and teapot) . Stick these pieces to the appropriately marked positions on the alder wood sheet.
