Attach the fusible interfacing to the jute fabric with an iron or a press. Position the lace design onto the jute and press it into the material.
Settings:
Iron: Medium heat (level 2), 8 seconds
Press: 130 - 165°C, 8 seconds
Important: Place a piece of fabric onto the interfacing before ironing or pressing. This will prevent it from melting and sticking to the hot surface.
If you would rather your decoration have a more rustic look, remove individual threads from the jute to make fringes.
