Company Profile
M-Corporation was originally established in 1995 as a signage and nameplate producer. The company later shifted its focus toward acrylic merchandise in response to growing demand in the anime and entertainment sectors.
Today, their product lineup includes acrylic keychains and stand figures for over 20 content titles, often delivered under tight deadlines and with high quality requirements.
Meeting Trotec: A Turning Point in Acrylic Production
In the early years, M-Corporation produced signage and nameplates by cutting a single product from each acrylic sheet—typically using 400 mm square panels. At the time, they relied on laser machines from another manufacturer, but inefficient layout software made it difficult to optimize material use, resulting in significant waste.
That changed with the introduction of Trotec’s Speedy 2. Its intuitive interface allowed for easy positioning and duplication of designs, making it possible to maximize material efficiency. Impressed by its performance, the company quickly adopted the system—marking the beginning of a long-standing relationship with Trotec.
Reliable Mass Production for the Anime Industry with Speedy 400
As demand for anime-related acrylic merchandise surged around 2019, M Corporation expanded its fleet of Trotec Speedy lasers. With reliable performance and staff familiarity, there was no need to consider other brands.
Today, the company operates ten Trotec machines—including four Speedy 400s, which play a key role in high-volume production. Orders like 50,000 keychains in two weeks are common, and the Speedy 400’s speed and large working area help meet tight deadlines. With 50 designs per sheet, daily output reaches up to 3,000 items.
The company also uses seven UV printers and a robotic arm to automate printing. By morning, stacks of printed acrylic sheets are ready for laser cutting. During peak months, production can reach 300,000 items. All Speedy 400 units use 80W lasers, capable of cleanly cutting both 3 mm and occasionally 8 mm acrylic.
Reliable Laser Cutting That Clients Count On
M-Corporation often receives subcontracted work from smaller print shops in western and eastern Japan—especially when job volumes exceed 1,000 units. Their 10 Trotec machines gives clients confidence in both capacity and quality.
High precision is especially important for anime merchandise, where characters are often designed to the very edge of the acrylic keychain. The Speedy 400’s Vision Print&Cut camera automatically adjusts cut lines for perfect alignment, eliminating manual adjustments and reducing rework.
For acrylic stands, a perfect fit between the base and the figure is essential. The Speedy 400’s accuracy and clean cutting edges ensure a smooth fit and a polished finish, meeting the high expectations of clients in the anime industry.
What Makes the Speedy Series Essential
What makes Trotec laser machines stand out is their ideal balance between cutting speed and quality. High-quality results mean little if production is too slow to meet deadlines. On the other hand, fast output doesn’t help if the quality isn’t good enough to satisfy clients.
For M-Corporation, which regularly produces large volumes of anime merchandise, the Speedy series is truly indispensable.
