Use this step-by-step guide to make a spooky laser engraved Halloween lantern. For this lantern, we used TroGlass Color Gloss in Orange and Black. The tutorial also includes a graphic file and the JobControl® laser parameters at the end of the page.

Required material
  • 1/4 sheet of cast acrylic in black or orange
  • Acrylic glue
Machine used
  • Speedy 400, 80 watt
  • 2" lens
  • Vacuum table with acrylic cutting grid

Use the 2" lens for best cutting results.
Remove the protective foil on the back of the acrylic after cutting. This prevents the material from being scratched.
