Create this cool guitar fridge magnet using our high-quality veneered wood. Follow this simple step-by-step tutorial to learn how!


Preparation

Required material:

  • 1 sheet wood veneer oak 3mm
  • Magnet foil approx. 20 x 35mm or round magnet

Machine used:

  • Speedy 360, 80 watts
  • 2" lens
  • Nozzle with small hole
  • Honeycomb cutting tabletop

Note: You can use any laser machine from the Speedy series for this DIY application.


Step by Step

Step 1: Import the design file

Download the template provided or create your own unique design. Send it to your laser machine using the recommended parameters below. Remember, the parameters may vary depending on the laser machine used and the available laser power.

Print settings:

Step 2: Laser process wood

Place the material on the honeycomb cutting table in your laser machine. It is important that you cover the remaining work area as this will provide a stronger vacuum.

Step 3: Assemble the magnet

Once you have removed the cut guitar from the laser machine, glue the magnetic foil to the back of the guitar.
