Learn how to make orginal pillowslips with the help of our LaserFlex foils!
- LaserFlex foils in different colors
- Pillowslip (e.g. IKEA "GURLI")
- Material to cover the engraving table
- Transfer press
- Speedy 360
- 80 watts
- 2" lens
- Vacuum table with honeycomb cutting table
You can also create this sample using any machine from the Speedy series.
- Make sure that you have sufficient vacuum to keep the foil in flat position
- Make sure that the graphics are inverted
- Select "mirror horizontally" in the printer window
Step 1: Design
Create your own design or import our already ready to go template into your graphic program. Send the individual graphics to the laser using the parameter settings below. If you are using our template, the graphics have already been inverted.
In the printer driver of JobControl you can easily invert your graphics. For more complex designs it can be helpful to invert them before you send them to the laser.

Step 2: Laser process
Set the parameter settings in the material database. Parameters can differ depending on the type of machine and its laser power.

Step 3: Post-processing
Now it's time to iron your designs to your pillowslips!
Heat the transfer press to 165°C (329°F). First, iron the pillow slip to get rid of wrinkles and flatten the piece; make sure to do this without the LaserFlex.
Now position the first LaserFlex part on the textile and press it for 17 seconds. Let the material cool completely before you remove the transfer foil.
Repeat this process with all design elements.
Once all foils have been ironed onto the textile, put the finished iron slip into the transfer press using the same parameters to smooth the layers.
Find step-by-step instructions on how to use LaserFlex in this video. We will show you how you can easily create your designs and the optimal settings for the transfer press. This ensures perfect results.
There are almost no limits to using our LaserFlex foils. Create individual designs for your customers, large or small.
