Step by step instruction
In this tutorial we will show you how to make a spooky Halloween lantern. For this lantern, we used TroGlass Color Gloss in Orange and Black. You will find the graphic file and the JobControl® laser parameters at the end of the page.
Use the 2" lens for best cutting results.
Remove the protective foil on the back of the acrylic after cutting. This prevents the material from being scratched.
Import our graphic or create your own design. Remove the protective foil from the front of the acrylic and put the material into the laser.
Send the job to the laser using the settings below.
Process mode | Resolution | Cut line |
---|---|---|
Standard | 500 dpi | none |
Halftone | Others |

Color | Optimized geometries, inner geometries first |
Define the necessary parameters. They might vary depending on the machine used and the available laser power.
