This is how I would describe my job to a friend:
I am responsible for the service organization in the Benelux. I'm responsible for planning installations of new laser systems and for planning appointments for maintenance and service visits. I also organize service meetings and ensure that both my team and I stay up to date about the latest developments. The other 1-2 days in the week, I spend on the road in order to maintain customer relationships, I assist with the installations and service on location.
I spend most of my work day...
...with pleasure. I can't work without my mobile phone, e-mail, salesforce and teamviewer. These are very important tools to make my work possible.
The coolest thing about my job is:
Not a day is the same. There are many different things that have to be done during the day. One day you are at the office and the next day you are doing an installation for a customer. This variety is the perfect mix for me. Another thing I find great is the space Trotec Laser gives me to grow and develop within the organization.
The thing I appreciate most about Trotec is:
Although the company has grown in the past few years, I still have the feeling of a 'family business.' They give you a lot of time to get to know the laser systems inside out. Also many trainings are organized to keep the staff up to date with the latest knowledge of the laser machine and software.
