Trotec laser machines are known for their rugged design and long service life. This is what our customers rely on. We achieve this reliability by subjecting our lasers to rigorous quality testing that each machine must pass before being delivered to the customer. Below are details about our individual test steps.
Each Trotec laser machine is subjected to a number of quality controls during production:
- Accurate adjustment of the laser beam for precise engraving results
- Measurement of evenness of the working table
- Pressure test of the working table
- Control of power supply voltage and electrical safety in accordance with E8701
- Endurance test of the x axis (for flatbed lasers)
Finally, we conduct an engraving test to adjust the laser beam. Here standardized samples of coated metal are engraved. The engraving quality is checked and approved against a reference sample from Quality Assurance.
In addition to the routine test steps performed during production, our quality assurance staff performs quality controls on at least 15% of our laser machines. With the double control of our production series, we can ensure the reliability of our laser with even more confidence.
Each laser machine and each laser source we ship are assigned individual serial numbers. This helps us quickly isolate the causes of any damage, and correct problems immediately.
The reliability and durability of our lasers is so important to us that we reward our production staff with a special bonus. The higher the number of flawless laser machines that a team has produced, the higher this bonus will be.
