Step by step guide
Follow these instructions to create a charming wooden Easter egg cup. We used alder wood for making the egg cup, but it will also work with conventional plywood or poplar plywood for laser cutting.
Use a cutting table to prevent beam reflections on the back of the material.
Open the file "Easter bunny" and send it to the laser. Start the engraving and cutting process with the power and speed parameters indicated below. These parameters might vary, depending on the machine you use and the available laser power.
Black (engraving) - power: 25 %, speed: 10 %, frequency: 500 dpi, Air assist on
Red (cutting) - power: 60 %, speed: 1 %, frequency: 1000 Hz, Air assist on, correction: 10
Once you have cut all parts, you can assemble them. If you wish, you can also paint them before the assembly.
