Acrylic (PMMA) is ideal for laser cutting applications such as point of sale displays, indoor and outdoor signage, and illuminated advertisements. Laser cutting systems are capable of processing a variety of material thicknesses and can even cut acrylic sheets up to 1 inch with ease. Clear, flame-polished edges are achieved in an efficient, single step process, eliminating the need for any additional post-processing. Acrylic can also be laser engraved with a CO2 laser for a frosted, matte finish, or it can be marked with a fiber laser system to create a color change, creating endless customization potential.
