This is how I would describe my job to a friend:
My job is very diverse and challenging. I'm a technician for laser engraving and laser cutting machines. I provide training and support to all our service technicians around the world (mostly in-house at Trotec HQ in Marchtrenk). I'm also involved in technical product expansion and reporting, which includes tasks such as reporting software errors to the developers.
I spend most of my work day...
… solving colleagues' technical issues (usually on the PC and phone). But sometimes I'm also out and about because of production or training.

The coolest thing about my job is...
...that it's so varied, you never get bored. And also the traveling! We often attend international trade fairs or work on customer installations at their premises. Sometimes we carry out more comprehensive laser training sessions at our branches.
The thing I appreciate most about Trotec is:
... the way people communicate with one another (we address each other informally) and the many opportunities for employees: for example, company parties, the extensive continuing training program, or the promoted health program.
Something personal about myself:
I love mountains! I love going hiking and I run a lot. My favorite mountain is the Traunstein (I've even got a tattoo of it). I also ride a motorbike, and when time allows, I enjoy doing archery.
