Laser Cut Holiday Decor: Wooden Christmas Tree with Acrylic Ornament

- 1 Sheet Solid Wood Walnut
- 1/4 Sheet TroGlass or TroGlitter
- Hook for hanging the bauble
Machine Used
- Speedy 360
- 80 Watt
- 2" Lens
- Honeycomb cutting table for wood
- Acrylic cutting grid table for TroGlitter
Naturally you can use any machine in the Trotec Laser speedy series to create this decoration.
Tip
Why not use different wood styles from the Trotec Laser wood range, or different colours from the TroGlass range. This way you will be able to offer your customers even more individuality and flexibility, with a wide variety of colourful options.
Step by step

Step 1: Design
Create your own design or use our template. Send the graphic to the laser with the following print settings:

Tip:
In order for the tree to hold well after cutting the base plate, simply measure the thickness of the wooden plate in advance. As a guideline, you can start with a cutting gap of approximately 0.2mm when cutting with a 2inch lens.

Step 2: Laser process the stand
Now enter the parameter settings. Please note the laser parameters may vary depending on the laser machine used and the power available.

Tip:

Step 4: Laser process the bauble
Send the parameters for the bauble decoration to the laser machine. Be aware the settings may be different depending on the laser machine used and power available.

Step 5: Construct the tree
Place the tree in the base plate, and hang the bauble with the hook from the tree branch. You now have your own festive decoration!
