Speedy Black Line: More Than A Laser Machine

Speedy Black Line: First-Class Laser Systems for Workflow-Driven Production

Marchtrenk, September 8th, 2026 - Trotec introduces the Speedy Black Line, a new generation of professional laser engraving and cutting systems designed for companies with high demands for productivity, reliability, and workflow efficiency. Available in the new Speedy 480 Black Line and Speedy 360 Black Line models, the product line combines high-performance laser technology with Ruby® software, automation capabilities, integrated safety, materials, service, support, and training to help businesses increase productivity and maintain operational control.

Laser processing in a modern production environment requires more than just speed or power from the laser machine. Successful companies need optimised processes, predictable results, and the ability to scale efficiently. The Speedy Black Line was developed to support exactly these requirements, helping transform laser processing into a connected and productive workflow.

Designed to fit your workflow

The Speedy Black Line supports operators throughout the complete production journey, from incoming orders to finished products.

  1. From order to production: Turn customer laser engraving or cutting requests into production-ready jobs faster. Speedy Black Line helps reduce manual steps and errors, and gives operators a clearer view of the job from intake to production.
  2. From setup to throughput: Keep production moving with your laser engraving machine by reducing setup effort, preventing costly placement mistakes and creating repeatable output from the first part to the last — even with many individual applications.
  3. Production with control built in: Automation supports the operator – with monitoring, repeatable output and safety built into the production workflow.
  4. From operation to ongoing performance: The Speedy Black Line laser engraver and cutter system combines intelligent technology, built-in expertise, and ongoing support to guide your workflow efficiently from daily operation to long-term performance.

More than a laser machine

Professional production environments require more than a standalone machine. They require reliable workflows, predictable results, and solutions that support business growth. The Speedy Black Line combines laser hardware, Ruby® software, automation-ready technologies, materials expertise, and global support into one integrated ecosystem that helps businesses reduce manual effort, improve process reliability, and achieve higher productivity across a wide range of applications.

This holistic approach helps customers:

  • Maintain reliable production with industrial-grade hardware.
  • Simplify workflows from design to production with Ruby® software.
  • Reduce manual work through intelligent automation capabilities.
  • Achieve predictable results using tested Trotec materials and parameters.
  • Protect uptime with expert service, support, and training.

Two models. One powerful platform.

The Speedy Black Line is available in two sizes to match different production requirements: the Speedy 480 Black Line with a working area of 1248 × 624 mm and the Speedy 360 Black Line with a working area of 936 × 624 mm. Both models deliver the same workflow-driven Black Line experience and are available with CO₂, or Flexx Technology™.

Productivity you can rely on

A key focus of the Speedy Black Line is maximising productive machine time. Features such as the Quick Change Table System allow operators to switch between applications and materials quickly, minimising interruptions and keeping production moving. The OptiFlow extraction technology maintains stable processing conditions across the entire working area, supporting consistent engraving and cutting results while helping keep the system clean and efficient. Vision Design & Position enables visual job placement directly on the material, helping operators verify positioning before processing starts. Vision Print & Cut supports reliable print-to-cut alignment for graphics, displays or labels, reducing waste while improving accuracy.

Automation with purpose

Automation in the Speedy Black Line is designed to solve real production challenges. By connecting laser production with surrounding business processes, the Speedy Black Line supports a more integrated approach to manufacturing. Through API and Node-RED connectivity, businesses can automate data exchange, connect software systems like ERP or webshops, and integrate laser processing into existing workflows, helping reduce manual tasks and support scalable production.

Long-term performance by design

The Speedy Black Line was engineered for long-term productivity. InPack Technology™ helps protect critical components from contamination, while TroCare service programs combine preventive maintenance, priority service, and expert support to maximise uptime. Combined with ongoing training and application expertise, customers benefit from a complete solution that continues to deliver value throughout the entire lifecycle of the system.
