Step 2: Laser process picture cards

Next, create your laser parameter settings. Always keep in mind that the recommended settings can differ, depending on the laser machine used and laser power available.
In addition, the printing process used can have an impact on the laser parameters.

Instructions on how to use JobControl® Vision software can be found here: JobControl® Vision software

Important: When cutting wood, please use a nozzle with small diameter. In addition you can increase the pressure of your air assist.

Tipp: Apply application tape to reduce the traces of smoke, but be sure to cut out space for the registration marks, so that JobControl® Vision camera system can "read" them.

Inspiration

  • Give your creativity free rein. Change the shape of the picture cards or the material. Add a logo or other text on the back of the playing cards.
  • For a fancy effect we engraved the cutting edge with a stripe pattern. To do so, simply put the cards on the holder, place it inside the laser and engrave all 4 sides.
