Step by Step

Step 1: Import your design

Create your own design or use our template. If you work with transparent TroGlass, please note that the contours shine through the transparent material. Now select the desired motifs from the template according to your ideas. Then send the job to the laser with the settings below.

Print settings:

Process mode Resolution Cut line
Standard 500 dpi none
Halftone Others
color Optimized Geometries,
inner geometries first,
minimize to job size

Step 2: Laser process Plywood

Now make the parameter settings. Our suggested parameters may vary depending on the laser machine used and the available laser power. To process the plywood, use the aluminum cutting grid table and the nozzle with the small hole diameter. Cover the rest of the work surface around the material to create a vacuum and provide efficient removal of dust and fumes. Then start the engraving and cutting process.

Laser Parameters:

Color Process Power (%) Speed (%) ppi/Hz
black Engrave CO2 60 100 Auto 500 ppi
red (Plywood 3mm) Cut CO2 95 1.5 1000
red (Plywood 6mm) Cut CO2 95 0.8 1000
Passes Air Assist Z-Offset Direction Advanced

Step 3: Laser process TroGlass

Now make the parameter settings for the TroGlass. Our suggested parameters may vary depending on the laser machine used and the available laser power. To process the TroGlass, use the acrylic grid support and the nozzle with the large hole diameter. Cover the rest of the working surface around the material to create a vacuum and achieve good suction. Then start the engraving and cutting process.

Laser Parameters:

Color Process Power (%) Speed (%) ppi/Hz
Red Cut CO2 95 0.8 20.000
Passes Air Assist Z-Offset Direction Advanced

Step 4: Assembly

After the laser process, remove all cut parts from the laser. If necessary, carefully clean the cut edges with a damp cloth.

  • Glue a wooden motif with double-sided adhesive tape edge to edge on one side of the TroGlass element.
  • Afterwards still the tail is stuck on suitably.
  • Turn the Easter decoration upside down and stick a wood motif on the back. With transparent TroGlass, make sure that the contours shine through.
  • Also on the second side the tail is now attached with double-sided adhesive tape. The decoration can be used from both sides!
  • The cut-out wooden bunnies can be used as sprinkling decoration. Glue a little tail on one side of these as well.
  • Arrange the bunnies into a cheerful and colorful Easter decoration!
