How to export laser parameters from JobControl®
There are a number of reasons you may wish to export files from JobControl®, such as to save them to an external drive or use them on another laser computer. JobControl® files are essentially back ups that include the laser parameters and are saved in XML format. From these backups, the settings can be re-imported later.
Important: If you are using Ruby® laser software, please find instructions on rubyhelp.com.

Opening the material database
- Open JobControl® on your computer
- Select "Settings" → “Material Template Setup Ctrl+M"
- The materials database opens

Exporting by clicking the gear icon
- Select “Material group"
- Click the gear icon
- You can then select to export either all materials, or a singular material.
Select the location to which you wish to save the file
