We will be presenting our laser solutions for medical device manufacturers at our booth 3B01 in hall 3 in Stuttgart, Germany, at Medtec Europe, the international exhibition for European medical device manufacturers.
This year, we are once again presenting our solutions for medical technology at Medtec Europe. We are giving live demonstrations of the SpeedMarker 700 to show how you can meet requirements of the UDI labeling obligation. In addition, this laser workstation is equipped with the latest laser source, the MOPA laser. Furthermore, you can inspect the SpeedCutter stent cutter with Femtolaser during laser cutting. We look forward to your visit at our booth 3B01 in Hall 3.
Medical products in Europe must soon be marked with a unique product number for traceability. We demonstrate you how medical device manufacturers can meet the regulations of UDI (Unique Device Identification) by laser marking surgical tools or medical instruments. The first step is importing the product information with a barcode scanner. Then the laser system marks the material with text and a datamatrix code. The automated process enables a back reading and evaluation of the UDI code, which will be reported to a file that can correspond with external systems (such as SAP for example).
Explore the SpeedMarker 700 with new MOPA laser at our stand. Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, you have even more possibilities for marking metals and plastics. Fast annealing marking in focus, high-quality markings faster than with conventional fiber lasers, or reproducible colors on stainless steel - these are just a few examples of the advantages of the MOPA laser.
At this year's show, we will present our highly precise SpeedCutter stent cutter with femto laser. The rugged granite construction of the machine ensures absolute rigidity and therefore greatest repeatability. Consequently, the system can be operated fully automated and produce stents 24 hours a day - a huge economic advantage for the operator, offered by no other system. With the included and already pre-tested and installed intuitive software new geometry settings and stent designs can be created and implemented within a very short period of time.
In addition, we present our flatbed laser Speedy flexx at Medtec Europe. Equipped with two laser sources in one machine, the user can laser mark or engrave using both lasers and even different materials in one step, without changing the laser source, lens or focus.
