Trotec presents numerous options for laser marking and laser cutting plastics at stand B12 in Hall 4 at the K trade fair in Dusseldorf.
This year, at the K trade fair, the world's most important trade fair for the plastics and rubber industry, Trotec will present solutions for marking, cutting and engraving plastics. For labeling plastics, Trotec presents the fast Galvo Laser systems of the SpeedMarker series. In addition to the maintenance-free fiber lasers, the SpeedMarker marking lasers are available with the latest MOPA fiber laser source, which results in even more opportunities for marking plastics. For cutting acrylic and other plastics, Trotec offers laser cutters of the SP series, whereby nice giveaways are cut on the SP500. In addition, Trotec will present the latest flatbed laser of the Speedy series, the Speedy 360 flexx, which is equipped with two laser sources. We look forward to your visit at stand B12 in Hall 4.
To comply with the marking requirements of the plastics industry, the SpeedMarker Laser Workstations provide the ideal conditions. Thanks to the SpeedMark marking software, variable data from external systems (e.g. SAP) can be processed and laser-marked in the form of Data Matrix codes, serial numbers or other dynamic content. From November 2016, the SpeedMarker marking lasers will also be available with MOPA fiber laser sources. The variable adjustment of pulse durations results in more opportunities for marking plastics, while keeping the advantages of the fiber lasers (maintenance-free, economic purchase price).
For customers who want to process plastics such as acrylic, the SP series offers the perfect options. Depending on requirements and material size, Trotec offers different-sized laser plotters for laser cutting and laser engraving. Thanks to laser cutting, no additional post-processing of the material, such as flame polishing when milling, is required. The processing of acrylic or Plexiglas immediately gives a clean, crystal-clear cut edge and a polished inner contour. Even cast PMMA can be easily cut burr-free.
In addition, we will also present the flatbed laser Speedy 360 flexx at the K trade fair, with patented flexx technology. Equipped with two laser sources, a CO2 and fiber laser, even different materials can be marked and engraved in a single process, without manually changing the laser source, lens or focus.
