Discover how you can produce a creative and classy packaging using custom coloured paper with laser cutting and engraving.

Preparation

Material required
  • Uncoated, colored paper 130 g
  • Paper glue or double-sided adhesive discs
Machine used
  • Speedy 360 80 Watt
  • 2" lens
  • Aluminum grit cutting table

For this sample you can use any  machine from the Speedy laser engraver series.

  • Use the grayscale matrix to find out the correct parameters for your material

Step 1: Import /create design template

Import our graphic into your graphic program. Adapt it to your customers' needs and send it to the laser.

Step 2

Step 2: Laser process

To laser engrave this kind of paper, minimal laser power is required due to the material being bleached. Insert the paper into your laser engraver and start the laser process using the parameters below:

Step 3

Step 3: Post-processing

Remove the paper from the laser machine. First fold along all folding lines and glue packaging together using paper glue or the double-sided adhesive disks.
