Tocana specializes in the design, development, and production of electrical and electronic insulation solutions. They cut flame retardant electrical insulators for a wide variety of items, including computer, power supplies, electrical and power distribution systems, telecommunication equipment, medical equipment, automotive components, consumer products, lighting, televisions, and appliances. Their insulators are made from a range of plastics, including a particular Polypropylene, which is flame-retardant and can withstand up to 32,000 volts.
In the past, Tocana's insulators were produced with conventional metal-cutting and creasing dies. Today, however, they use their SpeedMarker for high-speed laser cutting and have reduced their cycle time to less than 10 seconds each. Other advantages of their laser include:
