FAB15 offers visitors and exhibitors demonstrations, hands-on activities and talks featuring global opinion leaders and visionaries. This international conference gathers both field practitioners and laboratory researchers for a week of panels, talks, hands-on workshops on the principles and applications of digital fabrication.
As of the year 2017, 1,200 members of FabLabs and Maker Spaces took part at this conference – the fact that the attendance was increased by 400 additional members within only one year shows that this sector is rapidly growing. M.I.T. professor Neil Gershenfeld is sharing his vision about the future of FabLabs and how Trotec laser machines can contribute to this development.
In several workshops at the FAB15 the maker community gets to know the advantages of laser processing. Speedy laser machines are ideal for typical applications in FabLabs such as model making, prototyping, industrial design, and DIYs. Graphics and designs can be sent to the laser immediately for easy testing. The innovative Flexx Technology™ with two laser sources in one machine offers unlimited possibilities for creative laser applications.
We are happy to host Fabman as a co-exhibitor at the FAB15. Fabman helps you to run your maker space effectively. Connect your machines, manage your members, booking, billing, payments and much more. A free plan for registered FabLabs will be introduced at FAB15 - so give it a try and connect your Trotec laser machine for free.
