Working with graphics, photos and text elements are done easy and quickly with the integrated workflow. Users can switch between the "design" and "prepare" steps at any time in one software that is both a graphics and laser program. The laser software Ruby allows for direct file import from popular file types including pdf, svg, png and many more. When importing, the file is analysied and any design faults are automatically repaired. Functions like these help speed up overall productivity, reducing the time from the idea to the finished product.
Trotec Ruby connects to all your Trotec laser machines in your network, locally or in the cloud. Jobs can be distributed to multiple machines from your computer. Jobs are loaded onto the laser machine's integrated memory and processed without an additional PC. Thanks to the new workflow, jobs can be prepared by one user and produced by another at anytime and from anywhere. This integrated, splitable workflow allows different roles and rights to be assigned in user management. Complete automation of business processes is also possible with the open programming interface, the Ruby API.
The Trotec Ruby laser software follows the user from the idea to the finished product. This seamless workflow starts with the design and continues through job preparation and production. The laser software interface is self-explanatory, and if required, an integrated guide can be activated to provide additional tips and guidance. Trotec Ruby provides the right material parameters using it's cloud-based material database. The user selects the material and desired material effects such as deep engraving, dark engraving or kiss cut.
