Manufacturing rubber stamps & engraving text plates
Laser engraving machines for rubber stamp manufacture play a crucial role in the area of rubber stamp engraving. Largely automated processes reduce production times significantly and increase productivity of text plate engraving.
With laser engraving machines from Trotec, you can manufacture rubber stamps within just a few minutes and also streamline series manufacture considerably. The Trotec JobControl® software provides comprehensive support for the process. This program ensures easy and time-saving production of rubber stamps.
With only 1 rubber stamp per day, you finance the investment costs of a Trotec laser.

Trotec laser machines are designed for intensive use over many years. Therefore, we only use components of the highest quality from our own production and from leading manufacturers that ensure reliability and a constant high quality.
With the job time calculator, you can calculate the anticipated engraving and cutting duration even before starting the laser. This makes production planning and the calculation of your engraving and cutting costs easier for you. In addition, the Trotec software records the jobs you have completed. Thus, even the calculation afterwards is easy as child's play.
Trotec laser machines are designed and built in Austria. All components are compliant with the standards ISO 9001, ISO 14001, CE and TUV. In addition, our machines fulfill laser class 2. Operators are thus optimally protected.
At Trotec, all components perfectly match each other: Laser engraver - laser rubber - exhaust system. Make your selection from a wide range of laser systems for rubber stamp production tailored to your requirements. Additionally our partner company Trodat offers rubber stamps for a wide range of applications.
Trotec laser machines are perfectly designed for rubber stamp laser engraving. Due to the InPack TechnologyTM, our flatbed lasers are designed to provide protection from dust for all dust-sensitive components, such as optics, mechanics and electronics - low-maintenance operation over many years is thus guaranteed.
When creating the text plate, the image/text must be inverted and mirrored so that the impression is readable. The Trotec laser software JobControl® provides an automated stamping process that performs these steps automatically. In addition, the software supports generation of so-called shoulders as well as automatic cutting settings to achieve a clean impression.
The engraving depth of stamping should be about 1.1 mm for a good impression.
Laser engraving of rubber requires relatively high laser power to achieve a certain level of productivity. The more power is used, the faster the engraving.
Use a 1.5” lens for stamps with delicate details.
When the function “link” [Stege] is activated in the JobControl® software, small connecting bridges between the laser-engraved and -cut text plates are automatically generated. You can thus clean the entire DIN A4 stamp plate and then simply break out the individual text plates.
Trotec lasers are perfectly designed for laser engraving stamps. Thanks to the InPack Technology™, our flatbed lasers are designed so that all dust-sensitive components such as optics, mechanics, and electronics are protected from dust, ensuring long-lasting, low-maintenance operation.
Efficient extraction with activated carbon is important to remove dust and absorb odor. If very large quantities of rubber are to be laser-engraved, a pre-filter can be installed between the laser and the extraction system to reduce the filter cost.
