Non stop laser cutting with the SP2000 and SP3000 lasers
Tandem Assist provides efficient and error-free support during workflow. A feature of JobControl® laser software, Tandem Assist allows you to virtually split your working area into two zones. While the laser cutting in zone A, the operator can remove finished parts in zone B and load new material onto the laser machine bed, minimising down time while significantly increasing productivity.
Tandem Assist can be activated in a few clicks in JobControl® laser software. After defining zones A and B, the operator places their jobs onto the virtual work area.
The start command is then given directly at the laser cutter by pressing the Ready button. The material in zone A is then processed, while the material in Zone B is only processed by the laser cutter once it has been released by pressing the ready button in Zone B.
This feature enables the operator to move freely and ensures error free material processing. Once the material in a zone is processed Tandem Assist does not allow the same zone to be immediately reprocessed.
