To achieve the optimum finish when laser cutting it is essential to have the best possible vacuum. The digital table exhaust ensures optimum laser cutting results on the SP2000 and SP3000 laser cutting machines, allowing operators to activate the exhaust within specific sections of the working area for maximum extraction.
Traditionally materials will not cover the entire working area, which means that to maximise extraction you need to manually cover the exposed areas of the laser machines bed with an additional material such as paper, which adds additional costs and slows production speeds down.
The segmented exhaust system of the SP3000 and SP2000 laser cutting machines allows users to select the active areas of the exhaust manually by pressing a button on the operating console. The SP3000 features four separate zones while the SP2000 features two.
If your material covers one segment there is no need to activate the other segments. This allows you to achieve an optimum vacuum and thus the best possible laser cutting results
A well-thought-out exhaust system is the key for a clean and smooth cutting edge. The design of the SP4000 ensures the best extraction of dusts and gases. At the same time, the material is held down by vacuum to the laser bed to ensure process stability. The digital table exhaust can be segmented into four zones. This enables a perfect adaptation of the exhaust area to the fabric width and ensures a reliable cut even with narrow panels.
In addition to that, Trotec developed a travelling exhaust at the laser head especially for soft signage applications. It ensures efficient removal of smoke at its origin. The operator is protected and legal regulations are fulfilled – even at highest cutting speeds.
