Trotec will showcase its award winning SP series of laser cutters to the specialist audience at this year's Fespa in Berlin in hall 1.1 at stand B28 from May 15 to 18th, 2018. This year's highlight is the fully automated SP laser system for soft signage applications such as banners, flags, or light boxes with a maximum roll width of 3,210 mm.
The SP series of large format lasers offer numerous benefits for the signage and print industries, including creating a perfectly sealed edge when processing fabrics with no fraying, while the contactless and tool-free process enables even elastic material to be cut without distortion.
Customisable with a variety of options to create an automated solution, the SP series lasers can be configured around a conveyor belt with a feeder unit and unloading table, allowing for improved productivity and reduced production costs.
The SP series has been developed with the signage and printing industries' needs in mind. A fully enclosed beam path and easy access to the working area keep operators safe, while Sonar Technology™ auto-focusing, a travelling exhaust and cutting speeds up to 2m/sec ensure high productivity without any compromise on the quality of finish.
Alongside the SP series, Trotec will also showcase the Speedy flexx series of flatbed laser machines. Speedy flexx lasers feature both CO2 and fiber laser sources which can be activated without manual change of the laser source, lens or focus. Thanks to the combination of laser sources virtually any material can be marked and engraved using this laser machine: from plastics and wood to glass, metal and even workpieces with mixed materials.
