Over 700 exhibitors participated in the 2019 edition of the FESPA Global Print Expo, which took place from May 14 to 17 in Munich.
In the run-up to the SP4000 launch, collaborative initiatives with renowned textile manufacturers were established.
Trotec's SP4000 laser system for cutting textiles was introduced at FESPA 2019. During the four days of the event, we demonstrated the laser's superior material cutting capabilities. Attendees watched the SP4000 processing different fabrics, sealing their edges as it cut them to avoid fraying. Other key features of this laser include distortion-free processing due to contact-free cutting, and a robust exhaust system to remove smoke and fumes.
Over the course of the past year, Trotec fortified its collaborative initiatives with a number of textile manufacturers and printing companies. Fabric samples from bergertextiles, JM Technical Textiles and Verseidag were presented at FESPA 2019.
The SP2000 system was on display at the event, and we used this machine to cut printed acrylic from Plaskolite and Katz Display Board. We then used Anapurna UV printers from Agfa to print on these materials once again.
Speedy 400 flexx
The newly redesigned Speedy 400 flexx was showcased. Attendees experienced the laser system's mechanical enhancements, which permit quicker and more efficient material processing.
Speedy 360 flexx
Another model from the flexx laser series, the Speedy 360 flexx, was exhibited at Trotec's booth. Visitors saw the benefit of having two laser sources in a single machine.
We are already looking forward to meeting you at FESPA 2020, which is scheduled to take place from March 24 to 27 in Madrid, Spain.
