We have taken the opportunity to have our laser materials tested for our customers according to the ISO 4892 International Standard. During this process, our laser materials were exposed to UV-fluorescent lighting, heat and moisture under controlled conditions, which in turn simulates real weather conditions. The total test time was 1200 hours and there were three test cycles.
We are pleased to announce that during the testing phase, our laser materials did not show any chemical reactions or changes. This, in turn, means they successfully passed the test. The products that were tested are now labelled with an external icon, as pictured on the right. This enables you to quickly and easily identify if the laser material is suitable for exterior use.
Note: A material is considered to be UV-resistant if it is resistant to ultraviolet (UV) light or sunlight.
